SPINACH + BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL
With day after day of this scorching heat, in Atlanta + even back home in Boston, there isn't anything I've been craving more than a nice little smoothie bowl to cool me down! i've so quickly became such a fan of smoothie bowls because it's one of the easiest, quickest, and most convenient ways to boost up my nutrition. #YAS
In my daily morning smoothie—i typically pack just about as much supplement powders, fruits, vegetables, and Vega Sport Protein Powder as I can! The more i have consistently work out every day, the more i've realized my body needs to be replenished with ALL the good stuff. to be honest, I've been doubling up on my smoothies lately + will do my morning smoothie as well as a smoothie bowl later on in the day just to kick up my nutrition, relax, and cool down!
I'm such a FAN of body beauty + earlier this week I highlighted why I try to implement spinach and blueberries into my everyday routines [read more here] i figured, why the heck not create a little bowl of heaven highlighting the AWESOME nutrition spinach and blueberries provide! Here's how we do this bowl:
I N G R E D I E N T S
- ¼ cup frozen pineapple
- ¼ cup frozen mango
- ½ cup frozen blueberries
- 1 teaspoon maca
- 2 scoops Vital Proteins collagen peptides
- 2 handfuls of Organic Girl spinach
- ¼ cup Siggi’s Dairy blueberry filmjölk, drinkable yogurt
T O P P I N G S: organic + raw cashews and Trader Joe's super seed & ancients grain blend that contains sprouted buckwheat, sprouted millet, chia seed, golden flax seed, red quinoa, shelled hemp seed and amaranth!
D I R E C T I O N S
- Gather all ingredients.
- Combine all of your ingredients into a mixer of your choice, I use my ninja!
- Blend for 30 seconds or until silky smooth—the smoother the better!
- Pour it, style it, *enjoy it!
