Calendula is said to have healing properties most commonly used for abdominal cramps, constipation and for skin irritations. Calendula oil is also very soothing on your skin even for a night time oil and honestly it's been so good to my skin this past year.I suffer from dry patchy skin during the winter and it seems to never go away. Anyone else  suffering from skin irritations? Yikes! But wait, I got you!

My natural solution to get my skin back healthy is my homemade Calendula Oil. Trust me, Calendula Oil will change your life.

You can also you calendula oil for a face mask, throw it in your first aid kit for burns, rashes or chapped skin. Heres how to make calendula oil: 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup organic Calendula flowers
  • 8 oz almond oil
  • 2 oz vitamin E oil
  • a glass container or mason jar

DO IT YOURSELF:

  1. Place the dried calendula flowers in a jar and cover with oils.
  2. Place a lid on the jar and place on a sunny windowsill.
  3. Shake jar once a day.
  4. Allow to steep one or two weeks.

This calendula oil do it yourself recipe is is such an awesome, simple solution to add to your Emergency Kit or skin routine.
